Lance Avenue

Lance Avenue is the oldest child of three. But because of rules enforced by Takis D'Hann, his youngest brother was killed soon after birth. Since then, Lance has held a burning hatred towards Takis D'Hann, and sworn to avenge his family's loss and the suffering of all of Ereid-Reech, or die trying (preferably the former). He skipped out on his summon, choosing to run, knowing full well that if caught by D'Hann's soldiers, he will be killed. But he's seeking the legendary gaian Cyrus VanCastle, who is said to have tremendous power, and the ability to grant it unto others (so the legends say). If Lance can find this gaian, he knows he can find the way to defeat D'Hann.

Lydia Avenue

Despite being sent to Sarah LaFleur's Academy For Young Women, Lydia never learned how to be a lady (in fact, she was held back a year for fighting). She's tough and snarky and very sarcastic, but knows how to use her feminine charms if need be. You could say she's the very definition of "bitch". However it may look, she respects her brother Lance greatly and his crazy idea that he could ever defeat Takis D'Hann. She knows how stupid he is for taking on this task when he SHOULD just serve his time and be done with it, but she will support him, and even help him. Deep in her heart, she believes that if anyone CAN kill Takis D'Hann, it's Lance.

Krystofer Lane

Playful and vibrant Krystofer has been Lance's best friend since their early childhood, when they met at St. Bishop's School For Boys. He regards Lance as the center support for their adventuring party and is fine taking on a secondary role, because less is expected of him that way and he's still able to provide needed support. Despite his carefree, jovial nature, Krystofer is quite smart, and very loyal to anything he's set his heart on. He's witty and charming and believes in Lance's determination, enough to even skip out on his own summon and risk death- though maybe he's just in it to meet women.

Ian White

Everything in the world is wrong with Ian and no one really understands why. He appeared mysteriously at St. Bishop's School For Boys one day at age nine, and the whole time he was there he never made any friends, barely spoke a single word, and never recieved any letters or visitors. Rumor has it he has or had an older sister, but her whereabouts are unknown. All that can be said for certain is that for whatever reason, he hates Lance with a raging passion. He has sworn to kill him, and maybe someday he'll tell him why. Ian doesn't seem to have any opinion on Takis D'Hann, but he knows he doesn't care about the difference between Ereidans and Gravistons. He's even managed to accrue a Graviston companion named Aurora. Ian has an eye for (or obsession with) Lance's sister, Lydia, and intends to keep her.

Aurora Araignée

Aurora is a green born Graviston with a co-dependancy issue. Her six siblings sent her to Ereid-Reech all alone in hopes that she would toughen up and be of use in the imminent war between Ereidans and Gravistons. But Aurora is no fighter, and she knows it. She's too gentle and kind, and could never cause harm. She had this pointed out to her immidiately by the first Ereidan she ever raised the courage to try and kill, Ian White. Upon meeting Ian, she learned that despite what she had been told about Ereidans, some of them can be very compasionate. She attatched herself to him then, hoping not only for his understanding and friendship, but also his protection, as her siblings still don't intend to let her come home just yet, as they view her soft heart as a weakness.

Vaas Rhodes

Vaas was school friends with Lance and Krystofer. He's cold, cynical, and bitter sarcastic, and he will let you know if you're being an idiot. With pleasure. He's aggressive and a little bit violent, but he does care about his friends. While he still thinks that they're idiots, the lot of them, for being on this suicide mission he's also decided that someone needs to be the brains of the operation, or all of them will die. Which Lance very nearly managed to prove very early on, cementing Vaas' opinion. Vaas sincerely believes that no one can kill Takis D'Hann.

Takis D'Hann

When he was 19 years old, Takis, with the aide of his advisor, Merchant, and the financial support of the Vine Family, successfully took over as emporer of Ereid-Reech. What instigated this idea is, as of yet, unclear; but it certainly proved that Takis' determination is unsurpassed. He's clever, charasmatic, strong, and very powerful, which is how he's managed to hold the throne for twenty years without being torn down by rebels and vigilantes. Takis instantly crushes anyone who opposes him before they become a problem, even if they've done no more than refuse to plege their allegiance to him. In the begining, there was one man who could have stopped him. Ley, whom Ereid-Reech viewed as their "hero" who would crush the tyranous "villain", was once Takis' only great rival; but Takis killed him, and married this "hero's" fiancee, Delia, whom he had always adored. He never did any of it for the sake of "evil" or even for wealth and power, but because he believed that Ereid-Reech needed the order, and he truly believes that Ereidans should destroy the Gravistons and control BOTH dimensions.

Merchant

Merchant was a major part of Takis D'Hann's rise to power. He's quick, clever, charasmatic and silver-tongued and had no problem convincing the Vine Family to support D'Hann and provide him an army. Merchant even fully supports Takis' plan to overthrow the Graviston royal family and kill their entire race, even though Merchant himself is clearly half Graviston. There's somthing behind this that is yet unclear; Merchant has some ulterior motive to this that may have been what lead to his decision to help D'Hann. Merchant is fanaticaly devoted to the service of Takis, but would kill Takis' wife in a minute if it didn't mean instant death. He might have a crush on Takis, or maybe he's just overly flirtacious; either way, he's the only man alive that can get away with touching Takis (and he likes to take advantage of that). Merchant has recently taken an interest in the case of Lance Avenue, and would rather like to meet this second gen boy who is so much like someone Merchant once knew.

Most mixed bloods live in Ereid-Reech, as the Graviston father came to Ereid-Reech, met the mother, and then left again; there are, though, some Graviston women who become pregnant in Ereid-Reech and then go home again.
